• Please Note: A catalytic converter does not fail on its own. The catalytic converter is simply a pass through that helps remove harmful exhaust gasses. If you are installing a new catalytic converter you must fix the original cause of failure or repeated failure is imminent. If you have a PO420 code, your engine is not properly burning the air fuel mixture and this must be diagnosed and fixed or you will continue to damage the catalyst inside the converter.
